This week, the overall market continued to decline due to the decline of CIF prices in major markets to the east and west of Suez Canal (excluding the United States).

The amount of DAP in India has decreased from $480 to $487 per ton landed a week ago to $480 per ton landed. It is expected that the next trading price will continue to decline. The offshore price of DAP in China has dropped to $460-465 per ton, a decrease of $10 per ton. Additionally, there are reports that the lower selling price is $450 per ton.

At the same time, the price of DAP in Europe is also facing pressure, and local demand has basically ended.

The price of MAP in Brazil has decreased from $460-475 per ton landed to $440-460 per ton landed. The price of 19% calcium superphosphate further dropped to $150- $160 per ton (CIF Brazil). In the United States, the trading volume of barges has increased, and the price of DAP has remained strong and upward, at $449.50- $462 per ton (FOB Nora).

The market trend remains bearish

The bidding quantity for DAP in Bangladesh is lower than expected, and it remains to be seen whether procurement will actually take place. The Indian DAP depot has reached 4 million tons by the end of May, and the import lineup is still increasing. The demand for MAP in Brazil remains weak.
