The FOB price of standard ammonium sulphate rose to US$360-380 per ton ,because of the fact that the FOB price of new products was US$380 per ton, and the quotation of new products was higher.
We sold 7,000 tons of standard ammonium sulfate at an FOB price of US$380/ton last week, shipment in December. The cargo is expected to be shipped to Southeast Asia.
Suppliers insist on keeping up with the increase in urea prices,so new offers are limited. The quotation requirement from November to December is 390-400 USD/ton fob China.
It is said that Sinopec’s Baling plant will has one-month maintenance as planned, but it will not affect its ammonium sulfate supply. The price of compact pellets is stable, and new orders are limited. The manufacturer reported that the new offer for shipments in December was as high as US$480 per ton fob China.
