Some customers bought 10,000 tons at an FOB price of USD 360 and shipped them in November. The customer has not confirmed the destination of the goods yet. Another trader bought 11,000 tons from southern producers at a FOB price of US$345/ton and 6,000 tons at a FOB price of US$330/ton. A producer in Fujian sold a limited amount of standard ammonium sulfate for shipment in November at an FOB price of US$350 per ton this week. Last week, Shanxi steel prices rebounded from 1,400-1,480 yuan/ton to 1,410-1520 yuan/ton. It is reported that the cost of granular ammonium sulfate is about US$295 fob per ton. People are worried that the current export restrictions on other fertilizers may be extended to ammonium sulfate, which has pushed up prices. However, there is no official or informal report on this topic. The FOB price of granular ammonium sulfate is US$400-430/ton.
Southeast Asia:
The quotation to Vietnam for the shipment in December was higher than US$400/ton CFR, but no deal was reached. The price in the region was US$410-430 per ton, and one of the traders stated that the price was US$450 per ton. A trader sold 6,000-8,000 tons of caprolactom grade ammonium sulfate to Southeast Asia at a CFR price of US$430 per ton.
Indonesia:
Petrokima Gresik has not reissued its bid for loading 120,000 tons of standard ammonium sulfate from November to December.
Brazil:
As both buyers and sellers are worried about China's supply situation, Brazil's transactions are light this week. According to reports, there are several transactions priced between 495-500 US dollars/ton CFR, and 10,000 tons are sold in the high-end market. The CFR price of goods shipped in China for export in November was US$520-525/ton, and the CFR price of standard ammonium sulfate was US$450-475/ton , but there were no sales reports at these levels.
