The international DAP market keep stably

This week, the price of DAP and MAP in west of Suez were keep stable this week. The MAP transaction price of Brazil, Russia and Morocco is USD375/ton CFR, and the latest transaction price has increased by 5 USD/ton. There are no new transactions in Argentina. US traders will import a ship of DAP/MAP from Saudi Arabia at the end of this month. The price of European DAP rose slightly. The mid-range price of Phosagro was US$390/ton FCA, and the quotation exceeded US$400/ton FCA. South Africa has strong demand, and the Russian MAP is expected to be shipped to Durban in December. Buyers from East Africa entered the market looking for DAP shipments, but no sales appeared.

In the East of Suez, India and Pakistan have no new demand for DAP, and the inquiry price is below US$370/ton CFR. Australian buyers have scheduled two batches MAP in Saudi Arabia, which will be shipped in December.

The U.S. decision on import tariffs of phosphates from Morocco and Russia began on November 23, and the decision will have a significant impact on the market. India’s rabi crop sown area increased and DAP sales remained flat.
