Sodium Chlorate

Properties:

White or slightly yellow crystal, taste salty and cool, relative density :2490, melting point:

255C, soluble in ethanol , liquid ammonia and glycerin , heated to 300C above can decompose and give off oxygen.

3.Usage:

Used for paper pulp bleaching, to produce Chlorate dioxide, chlorite and chlorate ,used in

medicine, printing and dyeing , metalworking , and processing of uranium , also can be used

as herbicide , oxidant.
