China ammonium sulfate market

Due to weak demand in major markets, there are currently few transactions in China. Chinese

producers are quoted at $ 90-95 / ton FOB.

 

There was an inquiry sheet for loading 22,000 tons of ammonium sulfate in Longkou port ,from December 10th to 15th and shipping to Gresik, Indonesia.

 

China ’s caprolactam plant has an operating capacity of 60%, unchanged from last week. Due to sluggish caprolactam prices and declining profit margins, producers plan to turn a profit and reduce production, so it is expected that the low operating rate will continue from December  to January.

 

Extruded granulated ammonium sulfate is priced between $ 110-120 / ton FOB, but there is

currently little demand.

 

This week, the ex-factory price of steel-grade ammonium sulfate rose by 5 yuan / ton to 430 yuan / ton, which is equivalent to US $ 61 / ton ex-factory price.
