Baltic Sea / Black Sea

Exports from the Baltic and Black Seas remain limited, as producers mainly supply the local market and financial and political issues make Turkey largely inaccessible.

SBU still has no supply available. If available, quote a minimum of $145/tonne FOB. The price of the Black Sea is higher, around $150-155 US dollars / ton FOB. It is reported that Grodno Azot sells 5,000 tons of standard grade ammonium sulphate at a price of FOB Klaipeda $138/ton.

The ammonium sulphate producer Kuibyshevazot continues to be affected by the tight supply of Stavrolen, which is interrupted until mid-December, which will result in a loss of 3000-5000 tons/month of ammonium sulphate production from November to December.

 Northwestern Europe

Compound fertilizer producers and extruded pellet manufacturers continue to require standard grades of ammonium sulfate. Antwerp's standard grade ammonium sulphate prices are stable at €125-130/tonne FOB. The 2mm granules are priced at €160-165/tonne FOB. For Antwerp 3mm pellets delivered in February, the price is €210/t fob Antwerp.

According to reports, a small number of small batches of standard grades are priced at $146-147/tonne FOB NW Europe. Baltic buyers also entered the market this week. Antwerp's offer is 138-142 US dollars / ton FOB.

 Turkey

It is unclear whether Gubretas has approved its tender for 20,000 tons of pellets on November 2 and 30,000 tons of caprolactam-grade ammonium sulfate. It is understood that its price is less than 150 US dollars / ton CFR, including 180 days of credit, excluding tax. Toros has tendered for ammonium sulphate on November 14.

 Central America

Importer Incofe has won the bid to purchase 21,000 tons of ammonium sulphate and monoammonium phosphate and diammonium phosphate. A total of about 47,000 tons of fertilizer was purchased from China through the Asian trading company Merrycorn. The freight rate is estimated to be US$24-26/ton. The transaction includes 21,000 tons of ammonium
